Understanding Your Money
Description
Understanding your money is empowering, especially during or after a divorce.
You may not have handled the finances during your marriage, and now you need to manage them by yourself.
You may not have been the person who met with your insurance agent, your investment advisor or your financial planner.
You may not have worked with any financial professionals during your marriage, but you know you need a plan to be financially stable.
This is Session 1 of a workshop series designed to empower and educate women on their finances.
Presented by Kelley Hughes, Financial Advisor and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst
Session 1 of the workshop focuses on taking stock of your current situation. We'll discuss how to:
- map out your cash flow from income to savings to living expenses and fixed expenses,
- assess the financial products you currently have and how they work together and
- define the life goals you're trying to achieve over the next 10 years, and how you can afford them.
This Workshop is offered at no charge.
